Friday Questions: 1.) Why are the war hawks pushing for a new confrontation with Russia, over Ukraine, and the Belarus-Polish border? 2.) What are the implications of the recent indictments brought by John Durham against networks associated with the Clinton campaign in 2016? Will he go higher, to the Obama team; and to the highest levels of British Intelligence? 3.) Why are we seeing a move by western bankers to impose a Communist reset?
Lyndon LaRouche posed the question in 1988, as he forecast the collapse of the Berlin Wall and the coming reunification of Germany: “The state of the world as we have known it during the postwar period is ended; the only question is, whether the new era will be better or worse than the era we are in now.”Are we willing to take as an answer the increasingly dire situation at the border of Belarus and Poland? As freezing temperatures set in, thousands of human beings fleeing from countries such as Iraq, Syria, and Cameroon, and trying to reach safe conditions in the EU, are being used in a very dangerous geopolitical game, with fraudulent accusations of responsibility leveled against Belarusian President Lukashenko and Russian President Putin by morally bankrupt pawns such as EU President Ursula von der Leyen. As the crisis began to unfold, Russian officials, among others, made the obvious and truthful point: the ocean of refugees and migrants fleeing their countries today (in horrifyingly record numbers) was not created by Belarus or Russia, but by the interventionist, war-making policies of Western nations over the past 30 years. Will people in seemingly “advanced” nations such as the United States and Europe soon find themselves in not-dissimilar living conditions, as hyperinflation in energy and commodity prices now setting in makes heating their homes this winter an increasingly unaffordable prospect—all while skyrocketing fuel and fertilizer prices are forcing farmers to cut back or cease their planting of spring crops? Dangerous and dire as the current trajectory is, the answer to Lyndon LaRouche’s question is not, as of yet, completely determined. There is certainly no solution to a crisis as grave as ours within the given geometry—therefore, the only possibility is a creative intervention rooted in a moral determination for a complete change of policy. Now just one day away, the Schiller Institute conference of November 13—14 could not be more timely, nor solutions to the subject matter to be discussed more desperately needed. Participants from Europe, the United States, Russia, and China will take up the crucial topic of avoiding a strategic crisis between the major powers; representatives from Afghanistan, Haiti, the US, and Europe will discuss the global economic breakdown and what can and must be done; scientists from Africa, Europe, the US, and Russia will take on the fraudulent claims of the climate alarmists who say that the world needs fewer people; and educational and cultural leaders from the US, Europe, and Asia will address perhaps the most important topic of all: the soul of mankind, the necessity for a beautiful culture worthy of the dignity of man. This extraordinary event, part of an ongoing series of such interventions, can and must be a catalyst for new actions taken by actors on the political stage today to put humanity on a trajectory for a new era, one which stands in relation to today’s crisis as a new renaissance which overcame a dark age. Nov 10 — If the crushing defeat of the “woke” Democrats on November 2, 2021 taught us anything, it’s that Americans often go from supporting “absolute crazy” to returning to “somewhat normal,” like a drunk who wakes up in the morning regretting their debaucheries of the previous night. “Turns out we voted for a lunatic! I hope this next one won’t be so bad,” the typical American voter may be heard murmuring to themselves. Most of the Democrats have gone crazy with the green agenda and can not understand that the American people are now rejecting the horrible pain this Administration is putting them through. But do the Republicans have actual solutions? Are they less tied to Wall Street? Are they less committed to war? What’s been missing is actual leadership for the Good, something which uplifts the character of the nation as a whole. That’s what Lyndon LaRouche represented, but sadly the American people never had the wisdom to elect him president, and most cowered when he came under attack by the establishment. Americans have settled for “the lesser of two evils” for years. Leaders will not be successful without real support from the American people, who must take responsibility for our nation and the world. If you are disgusted with the state of things today, it’s useful to remember that it’s not just those elected officials who have failed, though failed they have, but that ultimately, the responsibility lies with us, not with our terrible political parties. On the occasion of his 90th birthday in 2012, Lyndon LaRouche had the foresight to announce the end of the party system: Now, George Washington, President George Washington and others, at the founding of our republic, as an independent republic, tried to prevent the formation of a party system. And I think, the time has come, to eliminate the party system… We don't need this party system which is a system of inherent corruption. What we need, is the election, due process election, of a composition of government. And we don't want people diverting the attention of the population, from the issues of the nation, over the issues of partisanship! That's where the problem lies! When you rely on parties, as such, you set up a kind of controversy, or competition, for power, between or among party systems. These party systems then excite the passions of the foolish voters, who now are concerned about voting for the party, first, and the nation, second! When it must be the nation, first, and not the party. The LaRouche Organization holds itself to this principled standard in deciding whether to endorse candidates, those committed to their nation over party. Moreover, LaRouche constantly stressed that true statecraft required an adamant commitment to the general welfare of the world, as much as to one’s nation. We at the LaRouche Organization will not endorse a candidate just because we think they won’t do any harm, or they might do some good. The American people need to know that they can trust that TLO will only endorse candidates we know with certainty will fight for the good, even when in many cases it’s not popular. That was John F. Kennedy’s standard in his book Profiles in Courage. The LaRouche Organization is proud to announce our first endorsements for the 2022 midterm election cycle. The tech moguls behind YouTube do not want you to participate in this weekend's Schiller Institute (SI) online conference. Citing a flimsy pretext related to a webcast from January 2021 (10 months ago!), they have imposed a one week ban on posting or live-streaming by the SI, on the eve of what is shaping up to be an extremely significant event. Given the deepening of the global strategic crisis, and the increasingly important role of the SI in exposing the corruption behind the crisis, and in mobilizing alternatives, you don't want to miss it. You can still register for the conference at the schillerinstitute.com, and get information on how to streamline it at info@schillerinstitute.com.
Join us on Thursday at 9pm EDT by dialing (267) 807-9605, access code 536662# Diane Sare of the National Executive Committee of the ICLC will discuss the question of the sublime in warfare, as we prepare for the Schiller Institute conference of this weekend.. She will draw upon military experts Cylde Magarelli, military intelligence, West Point, Col. Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain, of the Union Army and Gen.Douglas MacArthur, Pacific Commander WWII. "The inspiration of a noble cause involving human interests wide and far, enables men to do things they did not dream themselves capable of before, and which they were not capable of alone. The consciousness of belonging, vitally, to something beyond individuality; of being part of a personality that reaches we know not where, in space and time, greatens the heart to the limit of the souls ideal, and builds out the supreme character." ~ Joshua Chamberlain
While the globalists may be preparing to declare a Pyrrhic victory as their blab fest in Glasgow heads toward the end, the reality in the world is different than they believe. Many nations reject the fraudulent science the Davos elites have produced to bludgeon them into giving up their sovereignty. But the dynamic of history often proceeds in a different direction than that intended by the would-be Gods of Olympus: just ask for East German dictator Erich Honecker! Today we celebrate the birth of Friedrich Schiller, 262 years ago, whose poems, dramas and aesthetical writings give us a glimpse into how the beautiful soul, which exists as a potential in all of us, can be brought into being through true art, which is the pathway to truth. Join us this weekend, at the Schiller Institute conference, to participate in the noble endeavor of blazing that path for the future.
“Every person, indeed, expects from the arts of imagination a certain liberation from the bounds of the real world…. True art, however, does not aim merely at a temporary play; it intends not to transpose a person into a merely momentary dream of freedom, but to make him really and in fact free, and to accomplish this by awakening in him a force, exercising it and developing it, to thrust the sensuous world, which otherwise only presses upon us as crude material, bearing down upon us as a blind power, into an objective distance, to transpose it into a free work of our mind, and to achieve mastery over the material with ideas.” —On the Employment of the Chorus in TragedyWith the announcements that France intends to build a new nuclear power plant for the first time in decades, and that Netherlands and Sweden have now joined the ten (now twelve)-nation European “nuclear club,” the Erineyes are coming home to roost at the ever-decomposing COP 26 “cluster-flub.” Of Glasgow, we can paraphrase Sir Winston Churchill: “Rarely have so many said so much about so little.” Ridicule about Flop 26 has blossomed in the world of social media, with multiple lists of failed climate predictions appearing in several versions and satires. What will be the fate of the Glasgow silly season, that calls for $130 trillion in expenditures for a problem that does not exist? Remember Paul “Population Bomb” Ehrlich’s infamous August 1969 forecast, reported in the New York Times? “The trouble with almost all environmental problems is that by the time we have enough evidence to convince people, you’re dead. We must realize that unless we are extremely lucky, everybody will disappear in a cloud of blue steam in 20 years.” We did not disappear in 1989, but the Berlin Wall did, on November 9 of that year. It was an event beyond the imagination of nearly all, especially the Malthusians. It seemed, even as it happened, to be impossible, except to one statesman, who had “visualized the complex domain” of world strategy. Lyndon LaRouche’s October 12, 1988 Kempinski Hotel speech indicated the necessity for a unified US/Soviet Union “committee of coincidence of opposites” approach to the then-strategic crisis of the Soviet Union’s and the Warsaw Pact’s inadequate food supplies. The reunification of Germany was posed in the context of a joint, multinational project for peace—Food For Peace—pivoted around a project for the advanced industrialization of Poland: “Let us say that the United States and Western Europe will cooperate to accomplish the successful rebuilding of the economy of Poland. There will be no interference in the political system of government, but only a kind of Marshall Plan aid to rebuild Poland’s industry and agriculture. If Germany agrees to this, let a process aimed at the reunification of the economies of Germany begin, and let this be the punctum saliens for Western cooperation in assisting the rebuilding of the economy of Poland. We, in the United States and Germany, should say to the Soviet bloc, let us show what we can do for the peoples of Eastern Europe, by this test, which costs you really nothing. Then, you judge by the results, whether this is a lesson you wish to try in other cases…. The state of the world as we have known it during the postwar period is ended. The only question is, whether the new era will be better or worse than the era we are in now.” The only question today is, as it was then, what it to be done to change the tragic course of current history, a “current history” whose cause the poet Dante Alighieri described over 700 years ago: “But turn your eyes to the valley; there we shall find the river of boiling blood in which are steeped all who struck down their fellow men." Oh blind! Oh ignorant, self-seeking cupidity which spurs us so in the short mortal life and steeps us so through all eternity!! —Dante, Inferno, Canto XII A relative handful of individuals, assembled as patriots and world-citizens, unafraid to recognize the greatness of the contributions of all cultures to all others, and prepared to challenge all false ideological constraints in favor of extending technological progress to every sector of the planet, now has the ability to wrest control from the failed “armies of the night.” Even at the “silly summit,” on its sidelines, the application of nuclear power to the world energy grid is finding inevitable momentum, albeit through the false “saving carbon emissions” distortion. As we go into the final days of organizing for the conference, “All Moral Resources of Humanity Have to be Called Up: Mankind Must Be An Immortal Species!” let us note that, whether in Afghanistan, with Operation Ibn Sina, or Haiti, with our development program, or with the World Health Platform to overcome the pandemic, the Schiller Institute, as an anti-Malthusian resistance, must sound the morally certain trumpet. “It is not true, as one usually hears the claim made, that the audience degrades art; the artist degrades the audience, and at all times when art degenerated, it fell because of the artists,” Schiller tells us. We must create a new, optimistic cultural force in the trans-Atlantic world, by upholding the standard of truth, not popular opinion. For example, when it is pointed out that 1.1 billion people in sub-Saharan Africa have the same energy-generating capacity as the 83 million people of Germany, we should point out that Germany is energy poor, because it destroyed 11 of its 17 nuclear power plants. Africa’s energy needs will be met, only if there is a full recommitment of the world, especially Germany and other once-advanced nations, to an “Apollo Project-style” gear-up of the industries of all nations to fill the worldwide energy gap. This means the immediate construction of hundreds of nuclear power plants (perhaps a thousand or more with the SMR designs) over the next 10-20 years. Tragedy is not the natural condition of humanity. COP 26’s parade of circus acts could not pass muster. We are free to make the same “species-type” of miracle that occurred on November 9, 1989, but only by using the method of physical economy taught by Lyndon LaRouche, the man who saw the way to unify nations, and to do it without war, for the benefit of all people.
Schiller Institute YouTube Strike Response A YouTube video from ten months ago is being used to censor the Schiller Institute just days before its November 13-14 international conference! Early in the morning on Wednesday, November 10, the Schiller Institute was informed that YouTube, after having “reviewed your content,” has concluded that “unfortunately, we think it violates our Community Guidelines.” The Schiller Institute has therefore been banned from YouTube for one week and thus cannot use the platform to stream its conference this weekend.Entitled “A More Perfect Union through the Coincidence of Opposites: MLK and the American Presidency,” the banned video was posted on January 18, 2021, ten months ago, but has only now been taken down. The video is a three-hour discussion among participants of varying political persuasions about issues surrounding American elections, decisions by “big tech” about which voices to allow and which to suppress, and the non-violent creation of a more perfect union. Helga Zepp-LaRouche’s speech was titled “Beauty Over Violence: Beethoven, Schiller, and the Idea of the Sublime.” Video excerpts from civil rights leaders were presented in a segment called “Love Conquers Hate: A Schiller Institute 1995 Conference on Creative, Non-Violent Direct Action.” Absurdly, YouTube claims that the Schiller Institute event violates its policy on “harassment and cyberbullying,” defined as “content glorifying or inciting acts of violence.” This is preposterous. Although the video is gone, you can read this EIR report on the event. The Schiller Institute is appealing YouTube’s decision and will be arranging alternative streaming arrangements for its November 13-14 event. The event will still be live streamed on schillerinstitute.com Fight back against censorship by spreading the word about this weekend’s event, “All Moral Resources of Humanity Have To Be Called Up: Mankind Must Be the Immortal Species!” Defeat Big Tech by co-streaming it on your own platform. The genocidal intent behind the "climate change" puppeteers was on display yesterday, as they discussed how to reduce carbon emissions which result from farming! This discussion occurred as the World Food Program director Beasley reported that 45 million people face starvation, with Afghanistan at the top of the list. Klaus Schwab says the intent to improve people's lives is bad for the climate! Join us to make sure that climate fraud is not used as an excuse to commit genocide far beyond that of the Nazis! Nov. 8—A cold bath of reality was poured down upon Democratic Party ideologues in state elections in Virginia and New Jersey on Tuesday, Nov. 2. The deluded belief, that politically correct narratives can cover for the failure to address bread and butter issues of the economy, was smashed by a mass desertion of voters in two supposedly Democratic states, which just twelve months ago voted by significant margins for Joe Biden. In the 2020 presidential election, Biden carried Virginia by a 10% margin, and New Jersey by 16%. In the gubernatorial election on Tuesday in Virginia, Republican Glen Youngkin won by 2.1% over favored former Governor Terry McAuliffe, a Democrat. McAuliffe's campaign mirrored the failed campaign of Hillary Clinton in 2016, by ignoring the growing concerns of voters over economic difficulties, and their opposition to radical social engineering focused on education, race and "gender" issues. Instead, he assumed that repeating the mantra that a vote for Youngkin is a vote for Trump would assure his victory. He went so far with this "strategy" that he repeatedly referred to his opponent as "Trumpkin." Though Youngkin was endorsed by Trump, he kept some distance from him. He called for lowering the gas tax, at a time when gas prices are surging upwards; ending the regressive tax on groceries, as food prices sky-rocket; and giving parents more control over school curriculum, which has been a polarizing issue in the state, after a highly-publicized sexual assault on a fourteen year old girl in a school bathroom by a boy wearing a dress. The national Democratic party attempted to rally behind McAuliffe, a long-time political associate of the Clintons, by trying to make Trump the issue. This backfired on two levels. First, it fired up Trump supporters, especially in rural areas, who turned out to vote in high numbers; and it lost the support of suburbanites, who voted for Biden in 2020 in the expectation that he would follow through on his campaign pledges to end the COVID pandemic, address income inequality, and create jobs. Who Is Glenn Youngkin?
While western nations, led by the U.S., the U.K. and the European Union, are hurtling toward a systemic collapse, driven by commitment to a Green New Deal and the Great Reset, many other nations are moving in a different direction. Led by China, Russia, India and many Asian and African nations, they are rejecting the demand for an immediate, drastic "carbon transition", as they are defending their sovereign rights to put the priority on economic growth, which would be shut down by adherence to the looney-tunes being screeched at the COP26 summit in Glasgow. The {Financial Times} even admits that the idea that the shift can be financed by private banks and equity funds is not credible, meaning more government intervention and investment is necessary for the transition to occur.
The third and final week of the COP26 summit is now underway in Glasgow, and that Malthusian jamboree is expected to finally come to a shuddering halt on Friday, Nov. 12.It has done great damage. Many nations have been bludgeoned and blackmailed into walking off the gangplank into de-carbonization and de-growth—South Africa comes to mind. Others have been threatened into swearing fealty to a policy that will eventually destroy them, if it is in fact implemented—as with the case of Argentina. The bankrupt bankers of the world united in Glasgow to demand that hundreds of trillions of dollars be channeled to their latest and greatest speculative bubble. And Prince Charles pranced about on every prominent platform provided to him, declaring war to implement the Empire’s policy, summarized so eloquently by his dead father’s dictum: “In the event that I am reincarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus, to contribute something to solving overpopulation.” But perhaps worst of all, the population across the planet has been subjected to endless media brainwashing about the so-called “science” of climate change, which has left countless millions of youth, in particular, pessimistic, depressed, and despairing over the future of our species, and their own purpose in life. And yet with all that, COP26 is shaping up as a strategic failure for its Establishment architects, with Russia, China and even India dragging their feet on the green agenda, if it means detaining their own growth. The Presidents of Nigeria and Uganda delivered a vehement rejection of any green agenda that would deny Africa the right to grow and industrialize. Indonesia just said “no.” And President Biden himself had trouble putting a brave face on the fact that he couldn’t even get Congress to approve a carbon tax, not to mention the population’s broad rejection of his entire economic and social agenda in the Nov. 2 elections. In short, it seems that Americans—like their brothers and sisters in China, Russia, and Africa—are in no mood to commit suicide. Each in their way this week delivered a resounding “No!” to the policies they see destroying them and their nations. That is healthy… but insufficient. Rejection is not the same thing as a Renaissance. The crucial missing element—the positive concept of Man and associated economic, scientific and cultural policies—will be the central focus of the upcoming Schiller Institute conference, which will meet under the concept: “All Moral Resources of Humanity Have to Be Called Up: Mankind Must Be the Immortal Species!” That historic two-day conference will begin on Saturday, Nov. 13—the day after the lights are at last turned out on the COP26 summit.
Paul Gallagher of EIR Magazine described Lyndon LaRouche’s oldest target of attack, “Schachtian fascism” and how to stop it, on this week's Fireside Chat--with special reference to Prince Charles’ declaration of “war” on the human race at the Glasgow summit.
Friday Questions: 1. What are the implications of the merger of the global Green New Deal with the Great Reset presented yesterday by Prince Charles, Mark Carney, BlackRock's Larry Fink and others, in the context of the COP26 "climate" summit? 2. Is Virginia Gov.-Elect Youngkin a Bush-RINO Republican? 3. Will the Federal Reserve raise interest rates, and what will happen if it does? 4. What are the strategic implications of the Chinese hypersonic missile launch?
Schiller Institute founder and President, Helga Zepp-LaRouche, in a discussion on Afghanistan Oct. 29 on Islamabad TV, said that she is promoting the Schiller Institute’s proposed solution to Afghanistan, in terms she calls, “Operation Ibn Sina.” Zepp-LaRouche participated on the program from Germany, and has indicated that she will be filling out this “Ibn Sina” initiative very soon. She stressed at the outset that we are “at a watershed” time, in which the United States and other nations now holding back, must instead work closely with the Afghan government, which is the Taliban. Release the Afghan government’s funds, support stabilization and a future. The alternative is chaos, more opium production, mass death and terrorism. The TV broadcast was PTV World, hosted by Omar Khalid Butt, on his Views on News program, whose additional guests for the 42 minute discussion were Dr. Andrej Kortunov, Chairman of RIAC (Russian International Affairs Council) in Moscow, and Dr. Farah Naz, foreign affairs expert in Pakistan. Zepp-LaRouche explained her proposal, in her closing remarks, addressing the significance of Ibn Sina. “He was a doctor, who probably was born in what is today Afghanistan, and he was the most famous doctor until the 17th century, who wrote books which were studied in all of Europe. “So he’s a hero in the history of Afghanistan, and right now there is a huge health crisis: COVID—after the collapse of the previous government, more than 2,000 hospitals closed down. There are presently only 100 hospitals for 38 million people, and no medical supplies... “So I suggest that the international community, everybody who wants to be part of the solution, helps to build up a modern health system in Afghanistan, as the first step to stabilize the situation and give that the name ‘Operation Ibn Sina.’ “That can rally all the different ethnic groups inside Afghanistan because he is a figure of the national history and a hero, and he gives pride and also hope for a good, good future for Afghanistan. And building a modern health system can be the first step, because in order to have modern hospitals, you need energy, water, infrastructure….” Butt began his program by asking the guests to address all aspects of the significance of the crisis situation in Afghanistan, including “the geopolitical and strategic.” In opening the discussion, he showed the video clip of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov issuing a call at a Tehran conference (by video) earlier this week, that Afghanistan’s neighboring countries “not allow a military presence of U.S. and NATO forces which plan to move there after leaving Afghan territory.” Zepp-LaRouche denounced such a prospect as a continuation of the British Great Game, which is unacceptable. Dr. Naz put forward that chaos can well be “the larger goal” of Western circles, which see the rising of China as a threat to be stopped, and are perpetrating vast harm in the Afghanistan region “by design.” Zepp-LaRouche described the West as “in a real collapse phase,” and should shift, instead, to working with China’s Belt and Road Initiative. In the immediate term, massive aid must be supplied to Afghanistan to prevent genocide. The same day at the Pakistan TV colloquy, the latest grim report on the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan was summarized by UN Undersecretary for Humanitarian Aid, Martin Griffiths, in an AP interview. He said, “The needs are skyrocketing.” The Winter snows have started. The World Food Program, which had already been supplying daily food, not just supplemental aid, to four million people, is now facing this number rising to 12 million people. These are people completely dependent on receiving all their daily food, or they will die. In addition, another 12 million need supplemental food. Dr. Kortunov led off his remarks with three fundamental points: supply the food, act on the medical needs, COVID-19 in particular, and get fuel to people. Later in the dialogue, he forcefully made the additional point that, with the right policies and follow through, we could expect to see Afghanistan, this beautiful mountainous nation, be “the Switzerland” of Central Asia. There are the soils, the water, the location, the resources, the youth and all the other assets. The full PTV World broadcast can be reviewed here.
It is clear from the remarks of Prince Charles’s central banker Mark Carney, Sir Michael Bloomberg, and BlackRock CEO Larry Fink at the Glasgow “Suicide Summit” called COP26, that they have a) great financial momentum in organizing the worldwide 1% to cut off new fossil fuel investment, and b) a great problem—the “green finance” investments are failures.New, greenfield investment in fossil fuel energy for power and heat has essentially stopped worldwide, outside of two great Asian national powers. A horrifying 90% of all new electric power capacity additions in the world in 2020-21 were wind and solar power installations, according to the heavily biased International Energy Agency. But this worldwide anti-productivity energy transition, together with its inseparable companion, trillions in money-printing by major central banks, has unleashed disastrous power failures from Texas to Northern Europe to the Indian Subcontinent and even to China, and triggered waves of hyperinflation. Faced with this failure, the biggest honchos of the global Green New Deal promised a “war-like” mobilization, in Prince Charles’s words. This mobilization, he and Mark Carney made clear, is of the 1%—what they are pleased to call “the private sector” but is really the trans-Atlantic world’s biggest banks, money-managers, and billionaires—to cut off fossil fuel heat and power, nitrogen fertilizer, carbonized steel, cement and construction materials, and industrialization from the billions of the 99%, and greatly reduce their numbers. The director of the British government’s Green Finance Institute, Rhian-Mari Thomas, informed Bloomberg News Green, “This is the finance COP”; and the political leaders there are all imploring the “private sector”—i.e., London and Wall Street—to take over. Carney, in his presentation Nov. 3, said that $130 trillion in investment capital has been promised, under certain rules to ensure cut-off of new fossil fuel investments, including by 35 of the 50 biggest banks in the world. Carney signed the banks up to his and Sir Michael’s Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero (GFANZ). All the big City of London, Wall Street, and Frankfurt banks have joined GFANZ. Results? Sure. About 90% of all electric power additions in the world in 2020-21 have been wind parks and solar farms. Disasters, not profits, have followed. The Prince of Wales’s one-percenters have two problems. The first is that those 35 megabanks in GFANZ do not include any Asian giants, from China, Japan, India, or South Korea; nor, of course, any Russian financial institutions. Like their governments, these banks refuse to commit to Carney. China, in an extraordinary blast in the Global Times CCP paper today, accused Indian leader Narendra Modi of betraying the poor of India by making any kind of zero-carbon pledges at Glasgow. That made it crystal clear where China stands: Economic development and fighting poverty, not “climate,” come first. And secondly, the new “green finance” investments look good only on glossy paper. Already on Nov. 2 at Glasgow, Fink said that “deploying that capital is going to be far harder than securing the commitments. On Nov. 3, Carney acknowledged it:”There needs to be some—only some, limited—financing for a transition," Carney said—meaning a transition by energy companies from fossil fuels to so-called renewable power sources, battery storage schemes, green farming schemes, etc. “And there have been problems with the transition.” And again today, when Carney claimed in his speech that the pot behind him had $130 trillion in it: “The money is here—but that money needs net zero-aligned projects.” Carney told Bloomberg News in a Nov. 1 interview that the banks in GFANZ want “a wholesale rewiring of the global financial system so that every financial decision takes climate into account.” Dreams of Schachtian control as in the Nazi economy of the 1930s. That takes the power of central bankers. And Carney has that, in the Network of Central Banks and Supervisors for Greening the Financial System. What he doesn’t have, is new technologies for “green finance” that are productive, energy-dense, reliable, and which alert populations will tolerate. And he doesn’t have real banks! Instead he has immense “zombie banks” which are loaded by their central banks with trillions in deposits, speculate with half of them, and don’t lend the other half. The best way to make the wheels fall entirely off Prince Charles’s and Mark Carney’s $130 trillion green finance mobilization to try to hurry us to our deaths, is to break up those banks with Glass-Steagall Acts in every major nation.
In reviewing events of the last week, Helga Zepp-LaRouche kept returning to the theme that the actions of western countries — at the COP26 and G20, regarding the deepening crisis facing Haiti and Afghanistan, threats against Russia and China — are ultimately self-destructive. She used the example of the rejection of real science by participants at COP26, in favor of formulas for depopulation, as evidence of this; and the push for drug legalization, which is being implemented in the west, which is destroying the cognitive potential of young people. The hyperinflation of food and energy costs is having real effects. She pointed to the defeat of Democrats in Virginia, and the close vote in New Jersey, as evidence that the failure of the Biden administration to keep election promises is having consequences. She called on viewers to support the Schiller Institute's Ibn Sina Project as a way they can make a difference, by taking action to save lives in Afghanistan. Participation in the November 13-14 Schiller Institute conference is therefore more important than ever, as it will feature the kind of open, serious deliberation which is suppressed in the western media and institutions.
President Joe Biden reflected the British Empire’s frustration and disappointment at the direction things have taken at the COP26 summit in Glasgow, in remarks to the press yesterday: “I indicated that China and Russia not showing up — and Saudi Arabia — is a problem,” Biden said. “We showed up, and by showing up, we’ve had a profound impact on the way I think the rest of the world is looking at the United States and its leadership role,” Biden said.Biden then wagged his finger sternly at China in particular: “I think it’s been a big mistake, quite frankly, for China, with respect to China, not showing up. The rest of the world will look to China and say, ‘What value-added are they providing?’ And they’ve lost an ability to influence people around the world and all the people here at COP. The same way, I would argue, with regard to Russia.” The irony was not lost on Steve Milloy, a Heartland Institute leader and founder of JunkScience.com, who told Fox News: “Biden’s slam of Chinese President Xi and Russian President Putin for not showing up at COP26 is a sad indication of Biden’s failure to grasp or accept real-world realities…. Neither country has any interest in hamstringing its own economy with destructive climate regulations.” He continued: “Rather, Xi and Putin seem to have taken to heart the Napoleonic principle of never interfering with your opponent while he is in the process of destroying himself, which is exactly what the U.S. and Europe are doing with their suicidal embrace of climate idiocy.” COP26 has indeed not gone the way the British Royals had envisioned and demanded. Prince Charles had announced 18 months ago that the world had precisely 18 months left to fully implement the Malthusian Green Reset, and that goal has for sure not been met. Putin is making fun of the entire COP26 endeavor; China has praised the green intention but stubbornly insisted that its own priorities are different and come first; India has agreed to promise anything and everything under the Sun—for 2070, a half century from today. And even significant layers of an American population benumbed by media barrages and other drugs, have at least remembered how to say “no,” as the Nov. 2 elections made clear. But “no” alone won’t work—not internationally, and not in the U.S. The “yes” part—the elaboration and implementation of the viable economic, scientific and cultural policies to forge a new Renaissance, as uniquely provided by Lyndon LaRouche over the past half-century, will be addressed in depth at the upcoming Schiller Institute conference on Nov. 13-14.
For once, Greta Thunberg got it right -- there is a lot of "blah, blah, blah" coming from the COP26 summit. She's wrong, however, when she says there is no action being taken. Yesterday's announcement of a new financial alliance under the direction of former Bank of England Director Carney and former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg is a big step toward consolidating the "Great Reset", designed to establish a global central banker's dictatorship. Their intent is to inflate a new, Green financial bubble -- to benefit the 450 financial firms which have signed up -- while ensuring there will be no credit for the physical, productive sectors of the economy. Their big problem is in getting developing countries to give up their sovereignty and sacrifice their people in return for the crumbs being offered to them to do so.
Nov. 1 -- At a CNN town meeting on October 21, President Joe Biden was asked if the U.S. would come to the aid of Taiwan, if it were attacked by China. His response -- "Yes, we have a commitment to do that" -- set off alarm bells, not only in Beijing, but within his administration, as a spokesman was quickly dispatched to walk back from that answer. But a week later, more bombshells went off, again on CNN, in an interview with Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen. She said she believes that the U.S. and other regional allies would come to the aid of Taiwan if it were attacked. Further, she confirmed the report that a "small unit" of U.S. Army special forces have been deployed on the island to train members of Taiwan's military. She added that while she thinks there can be peaceful relations with China, the threat from the mainland "is increasing every day", as it is becoming more aggressive.
It is dangerous to cling to old beliefs at a moment of global systemic collapse. The belief in "limits to growth" is behind the "climate change" scenarios driving the push to reduce human population, which is the goal of those running the COP26 summit in Glasgow. The ghouls can be outflanked and defeated, provided the opposition to the Green New Deal and Great Reset adopts the strategy developed over fifty years by Lyndon LaRouche. Clinging to old beliefs is what led to the smashing defeat of Democratic Party candidates in Virginia, and possibly in New Jersey as well. The reality of hyperinflation of food and energy prices, supply chain shortages, etc., was of greater concern to the voters, than the spectre of the return of Donald Trump, which Dem "strategists" foolishly believed would lead voters to cast ballots for their candidates!
Now is the time for the movement founded by Lyndon LaRouche and headed by Helga Zepp-LaRouche to assemble a worldwide anti-Malthusian resistance. The indispensable concept to be supplied, that the LaRouche movement brings to this discussion, and without the which there is no hope for defeating the oligarchical enemy, is the increase of available energy, per capita and square kilometer, for the whole human race, with a particular emphasis on those areas where population growth is most clearly expected in the next fifty years—the continents of Asia and Africa. Though some world leaders are now seeking to stand up to the “carbon colonialism” of the Great Reset, and the “Ghouls Gone Wild” blood-feast at Glasgow, they lack any clear sense of an alternative, and often entertain, if only to be overheard doing so, the pagan “Mother Earth” mantra, or the “carbon dioxide is a real threat” mantra. We cannot allow the degradation of the terms of the discussion into merely seeming to discuss the truth, as LaRouche discusses in his “Riemann Refutes Euler” article. For example, Bolivian President Luis Arce said in his COP 26 speech that “developed countries are promoting a new world recolonization process that we can call the ‘new carbon colonialism,’ because they are trying to impose their own rules of the game in the climate negotiations to continue feeding the new green capitalist system, while pushing developing nations to accept these rules of the game without any other options.” True, but then what? Clearly Bolivia has defended nuclear power as a right of all people, but then, when Arce, an economist, says, in the same speech, that “The solution is to change the model of civilization and move towards an alternative model to capitalism, the concept of living well together in harmony with Mother Earth,” the flaw, and the trap, become clear. Unless the LaRouche notion of energy flux-density, and “the increase of the rate of increase” of energy flux-density, through advanced technologies such as nuclear and thermonuclear power, is understood, mastered, and defended in its own right, no matter how militant the message of opposition to the Great Reset may sound, it will signify nothing; the same tragedy will play out. No “redistributionist” approach will outwit, for example, Lynn Rothschid’s Council for Inclusive Capitalism, which, like Bolivia’s President, calls for “an alternative view of capitalism,”—though they mean something very “indifferent” than he. We need to instantly change the terms of discourse, everywhere in the world, in unexpected ways. Consider how an alert organizer intersected Pope Francis’s call for prayers for Haiti, now undergoing the dissolution of the nation, and threatening the same for the Dominican Republic. Simply by placing a link to our program for Haiti, as itself a physical-economic template for how to approach solving, not only the problem of Haiti, but the problem of many other nations in the Caribbean sector, a liberated discussion of the higher resolution became possible. The function of collaboration with nations, including China, was defined. In that sense, the Pope’s call for prayer was answered: “God, help us—with our right arm.” In the Schiller Institute’s Committee for the Coincidence of Opposites approach, for example, the Afghanistan situation can be seen, and organized, as a workshop for a collaboration of Russia, China, the United States, and India, lessening the danger of war which is otherwise worsening virtually by the hour. It is a “win-win”military strategy of engagement, without recourse to arms and war. The “Operation Ibn Sina” world health emergency intervention is no more a mere medical or “humanitarian” idea, than Ibn Sina was merely a self-taught country physician. Consider: Ibn Sina is not only claimed as a “native son” by many areas and countries in southwest Asia; he is also widely recognized in intellectual history as a pivotal figure in the dialogue between Islam and Christianity, and “East” and “West,” because of his theological and metaphysical writings, prefiguring Nicholas of Cusa in certain respects. If one bothers to think about Arnold Toynbee’s and Bernard Lewis’s gnostic emphasis and predatory approach to both Islam and Christianity, and their virulent opposition to both when it comes to the question of their shared theological mandate to “increase and multiply” the human population, then the “clash of civilizations” strategy of British intelligence, including its pagan-religious side, can more easily be seen, including in their RIIA and Prince Charles “ecocide” and “eco-army” manifestations. “They are neither man nor woman, they are neither brute nor human—they are pestilential carcasses disparted from their souls, called ghouls.” Prince Charles at COP 26 proposed (or, more clearly, disclosed) a war on the human race that was the “fever dream” of not only his father Phillip, and Phillip’s World Wildlife Fund co-founder Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, but of the European synarchist political movements of the 1930s that had shaped both, and even the Queen, as a young child, herself. “Climate change and biodiversity loss … pose an even greater existential threat than the COVID-19 pandemic, to the extent that we have to put ourselves on a war-like footing. We know what we must do. With a growing global population creating ever increasing demand on the planet’s finite resources, we have to reduce emissions urgently, and take action to tackle the carbon already in the atmosphere, including from coal-powered power systems….” “Our efforts cannot be a series of independent initiatives running in parallel; the scale and scope of the threat we face, call for a global systems-level solution…” Sir David Attenborough, the close collaborator of Prince Phillip and a central promoter of the “pre-Gaia” “natural religion” outlook more familiar to people through the work of Joseph Campbell and Carl Jung, was applauded, but not for his undiscussed views of population. They include the idea that 75% of the present British population is superfluous. (What’s he thinking about Africa?) Attenborough says, on the website of his organization, Population Matters: “All our environmental problems become easier to solve with fewer people, and harder—and ultimately impossible—to solve with ever more people.” Hannibal Lecter commenting on the speeches of Attenborough and of the three Windsors (the Queen, Charles, and Phillip, whose speech was in the form of the virus that people will shortly recognize they contracted during the other two speeches), said, “I may be a cannibal, but I have standards.” The world deserves better than the inedible Windsors. POSTSCRIPT: A TREE GROWS IN RUSSIA? (Note in this briefing Vladimir Putin’s surgical-ironical intervention into COP 26, concerning Russia’s coming contribution to reforestation. In that context, consider the following.) In his essay, “The Question of Global warming,” scientist Freeman Dyson writes: “It is likely that biotechnology will dominate our lives in our economic activities during the second half of the 21st-century, just as computer technology dominated our lives in our economy during the second half of the 20th. Biotechnology could be a great equalizer, spreading wealth over the world wherever there is land and air and water and sunlight. This has nothing to do with the misguided efforts that are now being made to reduce carbon emissions by growing corn and converting it into ethanol fuel. The ethanol program fails to reduce emissions and incidentally hurts poor people all over the world by raising the price of food. After we have mastered biotechnology the rules of the climate game will be radically changed. In the world economy based on biotechnology, some low-cost and environmentally benign backstop to carbon emissions is likely to become a reality….. “…every carbon dioxide molecule in the atmosphere is incorporated in a plant within a time of the order of 12 years. Therefore, if we can control what the plants do with the carbon, the fate of the carbon in the atmosphere is in our hands…. The science and technology of genetic engineering are not yet right for large scale use. We do not understand the language of the genome well enough to read and write it fluently. But the science is advancing rapidly, and the technology of reading and writing genomes is advancing ever more rapidly. I consider it likely that we shall have ‘genetically engineered carbon eating trees’ within 20 years, and almost certainly within 50 years. “Carbon-eating trees could convert most of the carbon that they absorb from the atmosphere into some chemically stable form and bury underground. Or they could convert the carbon into liquid fuels and other useful chemicals. Biotechnology is enormously powerful, capable of burying or transforming any molecule of carbon dioxide that comes into its grasp…. If 1/4 of the world’s forests were replanted with carbon eating varieties of the same species, the forests would be preserved as ecological resources and as habitats for wildlife, and the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere would be reduced by half in about 50 years.”
The FLOP26 opened with the expected hyperbole, with BoJo saying "It's one minute to midnight", i.e. we are running out of time to stop what Joe Biden called "an existential threat to human existence...." But the "debate" over whether there has been warming and what is causing it has not been settled, despite what the COP26 "influencers" so loudly assert. Resistance is building to the devastation which will be unleashed if the "net zero carbon" demand is successfully imposed. Given the rhetoric from leaders about their "profound concern for future generations", why are they not calling for lifting the sanctions imposed by the U.S. and its NATO allies on nations such as Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen and Zimbabwe, sanctions which are killing people now, and threatening millions more lives, especially of children, in the future?
Despite the constant media hype and pressure to conform, the world will little note the arguments among all the power brokers and “influencers” at the ongoing G20 and climate summits, about whether they’re succeeding or failing in their evil and incomprehensible objective of sacrificing the human species to “the planet.”We will rather be stirred by the real and urgent need to save human lives, and to better lives, in the crises those summiteers create, but refuse to discuss! The city in Romania, Timosoara, which has had all electric power cut off because it could not pay carbon taxes to the EU, must get it back. Most people facing this Winter amid a hyperinflation of costs of energy and shelter will not be moved by what the global temperature will be in 80 years, but by whether we can save and improve the lives of the least of us, now. The G20 summit, fixated on “climate change” and lacking the critical input of the Chinese and Russian presidents, undertook no action to change the desperately urgent situation of the people of Afghanistan—punished because the war there did not end satisfactorily to NATO. The huge but failing two-week Glasgow Climate Summit will not even discuss Afghanistan, or Haiti, though their collapses are dangers to the world as well as threatening the loss of human lives in the millions. What will move people most are powerful ideas about what can be done to redeem our immortal species, what forceful and creative actions can be taken “not because they are easy, but because they are hard.” Such is Schiller Institute president Helga Zepp-LaRouche’s “Operation Ibn Sina,” to catalyze the action to rebuild Afghanistan, by identifying it with its native son who was the world’s leading medical authority for centuries—when today, nearly all its hospitals have closed in destitution. Such is the Schiller Institute design for economic development of Haiti, at last, after two centuries of neglect and worse. And such is the New Bretton Woods plan inherited from Lyndon LaRouche, for the United States, Russia, China and India to end this hyperinflationary breakdown by launching a new international credit system based on FDR’s design. It can begin by setting long-term, nation-to-nation agreements on trade in the key energy commodities, bypassing the criminal speculation on “spot markets.” These ideas are as beautiful as space travel, as a breakthrough to fusion energy for the world. Those who grasp them have to organize all-out for them now, as a general inflationary breakdown is threatening and millions of people are perishing from famines and pandemics. The center of the mobilization for them now is the Schiller Institute’s international conference Nov. 13-14, “All Moral Resources of Humanity Have To Be Called Up: Mankind Must Become the Immortal Species.” Registration here.
